Hotel Caravan Centre is a modern, government approved "Deluxe-A” category hotel, built in traditional architectural style of Ladak and comprising 28 well-appointed guest rooms and suites. The rooms are fully carpeted, (some with parquet flooring) and attached with private bath-shower with running hot and cold water. The south-facing rooms open onto the flower-bedecked gardens and provide glimpses of the snow-capped Stok-Khangri massif of the Himalayan range through the surrounding line of tree. Most of the rooms face south, and have magnificent views of the Indus valley and the snow-capped Stok-Khangri massif of the Himalayan range. The north facing rooms open on to the dramatic views of the Khardongla range, across which runs the highest road of the/ world. Established in 1989, the hotel is managed by the local owners with traditional hospitality and personalized service, which lend to it a warm homely ambience.
